In the last year we have declined certification of about ten products. Either because they contained ingredients we do not allow, or because the concentration of an an ingredient was too high or because we found impurities in the raw materials that we do not allow in certified products. In the following you can see a list of products we have declined and what happened afterwards. The products and brands are of course anonymized.

Raw material: Scandinavian cosmetic product.
One ingredient contained a raw material taht was preserved with Methylisothiazolinone (MI).
The brand owner did not know this. The raw material was repalced and we hvae been able to certify the product afterwards.

Raw material; Scandinavian paper product.
The product contained an ingredient where a raw material was preserved with MI. The producer changed the ingredient and we are in a certification process in September 2017.

Raw material; Scandinavian lip product.
The product contained an ingredient where one of the raw materials contained an allergen. The brand owner did not know this. The ingredient have been substituted and we are in the process of certifying the product.

Proces; Scandinavian wetwipe.
In the production process there is a risk of bacterial growth. To stop this the production company uses an ingredient that contains a classified allergen that releases formaldehyde. The production company changed the ingredient containing formaldehyde releaser and the wipes have been certified.

Ingredient; Scandinavian medical device.
The product contained a natural ingredient with an allergen. The production company has substituted the natural ingredient with a synthetic and we have been able to certify the product.

Ingredient; Scandinavian beauty product.
Contained an allergenic extract. Brand owner asked production company to substitute the ingredient and we have been able to certify.

Ingredient; Scandinavian beauty product.
The product contained perfume. Brand owner did not know this. The perfume has been taken out and we have certified the product.

Ingredient; Scandinavian beauty product.
The product contained two natural ingredients that were both allergenic. Brand owner did not know this Both ingredient s hvae been taken out and we have been able to certify.

Raw material; Scandinavian cosmetic product.
Product contained a raw material containing two of the 26 most allergenic perfumes. Brand owner did not know this. Brand owner has been asked to remove ingredient containing the raw material. Still pending.
