No Perfume Day
Join the campaign
Mark your calendar: January 16 is No Perfume Day. On this day – organized by AllergyCertified – we encourage you to skip fragranced products and give your skin a well-deserved break. Because even though perfume may smell great, it’s not always kind to your skin. Around 27% of the European population suffers from a skin allergy – often linked to fragrance use. So take a closer look at your skincare routine and join us for No Perfume Day.

Why join the campaign?
Do you know what you put on your skin every day? It’s often more than you think! Shower gel, face cream, makeup, perfume, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap – even laundry detergent – all often contain fragrance. (Count your products here) That lovely scent may be nice, but it can also irritate your skin. Fragrances can even cause contact allergies. And once you have one, it doesn’t go away. More than 27% of the European population is affected by contact allergies, often caused by perfume. That’s why we’re encouraging everyone to swap fragranced products for fragrance-free alternatives on No Perfume Day – or even better, for good. Will you join us?
“Perfume allergy occurs when the skin is exposed to fragrance often enough. That’s why we recommend giving your skin a break from perfume on January 16”
Cheers to your skin
Your skin is your largest organ. It regulates your body temperature and protects you from external influences. Throughout your life, your skin goes through a lot – sunlight, dry air, cold, wind, seawater, and perfume. The more often your skin is exposed to perfume, the higher the risk of developing a contact allergy. So give your skin a break by being more mindful of what you apply to it. No Perfume Day is the perfect moment to start.
