“I want to stand fully behind my product – 100%. That’s only possible when an organization like AllergyCertified checks the raw materials, so we know exactly what’s in the final product. For me, just like with food, it’s important to know what I’m putting on my skin.

Monique, co-founder of Squalan, and I always followed the principle: the purer the ingredients, the better the product. Later, on the advice of a professor, we realized that some lab-created ingredients can actually be more effective than their natural alternatives. That led us to ask: if we want to create natural products, how can we make them as pure and safe as possible?
